We’re excited to announce M will be off to Austin, Texas, next month for South By South West (SXSW).
We’ll be pitching up outside the British Music Embassy from 13 to 17 of March to hang out with the artists representing Blighty this year and get the full reveal on their American adventures.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be chatting to some of the whopping 37 acts funded by the PRS Foundation to take the trip over, with a special focus on the artists performing at the PRS Foundation and PRS for Music showcases.
We’re following M faves Marika Hackman, Anna Meredith and Fifi Rong as they make their last minute preps, and are shining a light on Sarathy Korwar and Dave, who are also making their maiden voyages to Texas.
On top of that, we’re teaming up with the lovely DIY magazine to cover their shows at the Embassy and Maggie Mae’s. As part of the hook-up, we’ll be hanging out with Dream Wife and Doe to get their take on all the madness and mayhem.
While we’re at it, we’ll be handing over our Instagram account to some surprise acts so they can give us a blow-by-blow account of their adventures. Could be risky…
