Tim Burgess has announced the line-up for his Broken Record Festival listening party.

The event’s visiting albums will come from KT Tunstall, Boy George, John Grant, The Shins and PINS.

The Broken Record Festival has been created to draw attention to the #BrokenRecord campaign which highlights the low royalties many artists, writers and musicians receive from streaming

All donations received through this appeal will be split equally between the PRS Emergency Relief Fund and the Musicians’ Union Coronavirus Hardship Fund.

Tim Burgess started his Twitter listening parties nine years ago, celebrating anniversaries of Charlatans records and his solo albums. At the start of the lockdown, he invited other bands and artists to join in. Guests have included Franz Ferdinand, Blur, Roisin Murphy and The Breeders.
