Your music may be used in a variety of ways on general interest audio products. Choose an option below to find out how we collect money on your behalf for the use of your music.
The AP7a Agreement is aimed at audio and audio-visual products supplied with greetings cards at the point of sale.
How often should you expect to be paid?

Yes.

What does the scheme exclude?
Third party sponsorship. This is covered under the SG3 scheme (Premium Products).

The GI7 Agreement is aimed at publishers who sell magazines with free general interest (i.e TV drama, fitness, sports, feature films) CDs/DVDs to the public or run token schemes with a related retailer.

Do we pay you for each track used?
Yes
What do we charge a customer for the use of your music?
- For repertoire work (excl. commissioned works) we charge 0.375 pence per work per unit for Covermounted Products. We charge 1.35 pence per work per unit for Token Collect Products.
- For commissioned works <50% of total product duration we charge 0.75 pence per unit for Covermounted Products. We charge 2.7 pence per unit for Token Collect Products.
- For commissioned works >50% of total product duration we charge 1.5 pence per unit for Covermounted Products. We charge 5.4 pence per unit for Token Collect Products.

What does the scheme exclude?
Third party sponsorship (this is covered under the SG3 scheme).
The NP1 Agreement is aimed at companies who use music in novelties such as badges, mugs, non-retail computer games and arcade games.
How often should you expect to be paid?
Monthly (in arrears).
Do we pay you for each track used?
Yes.
What do we charge a customer for the use of your music?
We negotiate directly with the member as this can vary depending on the product type and nature of use.
What commission rate do you pay us on the royalties collected?
12.5%
Special Considerations
Licences will not be granted without the prior approval of the copyright owner.
What does the scheme exclude?
Greeting cards using audio-only content (covered under the Multimedia Scheme).
Greeting cards accompanied by an audio CD (covered under the AP7a Scheme).
Interactive games for retail sale (see separate Interactive Games scheme).
The GI7N Agreement is aimed at publishers who sell newspapers with free general interest (i.e TV drama, fitness, sports etc) CDs/DVDs to the public or run token schemes with a related retailer.

Yes
What do we charge a customer for the use of your music?
- For repertoire work (excl. commissioned works) we charge 0.25 pence per work per unit for Covermounted Products. We charge 0.90 pence per work per unit for Token Collect Products.
- For commissioned works <50% of total product duration we charge 0.5 pence per unit for Covermounted Products. We charge 1.8 pence per unit for Token Collect Products.
- For commissioned works >50% of total product duration we charge 1 pence per unit for Covermounted Products. We charge 3.6 pence per unit for Token Collect Products.
