ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) held its 31st annual awards in London last night, honouring British composers whose work is licensed by ASCAP in the US.
Today at 2.00pm, PRS for Music unveiled a Music Heritage plaque to James. Speaking at the dedication ceremony, Deputy Chairman Paulette Long paid tribute to James and The Hacienda, the venue that gave the band its start.
PRS for Music is to host two dedicated events to support the British Copyright Council (BCC) and World Intellectual Property Organisation’s (WIPO) annual London course in Copyright and Related Rights.
