Stefflon Don, Dizzee Rascal and J Hus win at GRM Daily awards

The award ceremony was exclusively streamed on YouTube and Ratedawards.com last night (9 September).

J Hus, Stefflon Don, Stormzy, AJ Tracey, D-Block Europe and Dizzee Rascal were among the winners at the GRM Daily Rated Awards 2020.

J Hus took home Album Of The Year honour for Big Conspiracy, D-Block Europe were given two awards for Male Artist Of The Year and Mixtape Of The Year and Dizzee Rascal was honoured with The Legacy Award for ‘his contribution to sculpting the sound of grime and changing the face of British music forever.’

Stefflon Don was awarded Female Artist Of The Year and was the only female artist to receive an award.

Stormzy and Dutachavelli won the Track Of The Year award for I Dunno, Aitch and AJ Tracey's Rain got best video, while JAE5 took home the award for producer of the year.

The winners were announced via a virtual ceremony, hosted by Mo Gilligan and Julie Adenuga.

Dizzee Rascal, Kano, George The Poet, M Huncho, Abra Cadabra, Dutchavelli, Ivorian Doll and Br3yna and were among the artists to perform live.

Watch George The Poet’s performance of his poem It Was Written below. The poem focuses on the evolution of Black British music over the years and acknowledges the successes of artists such as So Solid Crew, Ms Dynamite, Roll Deep and more.
