The Ivors Academy and Help Musicians, with support from The Ivors Academy Trust, have launched the Music Creators Mentoring Programme.

The Music Creators Mentoring Programme facilitates access to the wider music-making community, matching skills and knowledge. It provides creators with a space to learn, develop and maximise their potential.

Successful mentoring partnerships change lives by drawing out and developing talent, by providing career development advice and the impetus for lifelong professional relationships. They benefit mentors as well as mentees by providing opportunities to consider new ideas and perspectives and developing coaching skills.

The programme will match 50 emerging music creators with 50 suitable mentors, providing a huge range of benefits for both groups including:

  • Guaranteed eight hours of 1-1 online mentoring
  • Six months free The Ivors Academy membership for all mentors
  • Online training sessions
  • Access to online resources, and much more

Each group will have different start and end dates for the mentoring process, as well as different dates for participation.
