Bemz, BBC Introducing's Scottish Act of 2022, lauded jazz outfit Grace & The Flat Boys, and rising artist Billy Got Waves are set to headline this week’s fourth annual Scotland in Colour showcase.

Taking place in Edinburgh at the Old Royal High School on Calton Hill this Saturday 3 September, Scotland in Colour is hosted by Intercultural Youth Scotland (IYS), the country's leading charity for BPoC young people. It aims to increase the visibility marginalised artists, and this year’s edition features a special performance of Out of the Common, a collaboration between from IYS and Drake Music Scotland, an organisation which creates music making opportunities for people with disabilities or additional support needs.

The showcase section of the evening is free to all, with a ticketed concert in the Old Grand Hall to follow. The ticketed concert will feature an eclectic crop of artists and DJs from around Scotland, including AD3, Skyy Boii and Bemz.

While music is the focus of the festival, Scotland in Colour features further opportunities for families, fans and individuals to connect and celebrate through BPoC-led art workshops, food stalls and an outdoor area with its own bar situated at the accessible entrance to the venue. Inside the venue there will be rooms made available for rest, relaxation and baby-changing. Tickets are available here.
