For a duo that suddenly went from playing crowds of 200 to supporting LCD Soundsystem on a huge international tour, there's not a lot about performing live that Prinzhorn Dance School don't know.

Plucked from relative obscurity early on in their musical career by DFA Records (and LCD Soundsystem) lynchpin James Murphy, Tobin Prinz and Suzi Horn have since cultivated a resilient mindset and super-tight musical approach to the stage.

Spasming guitars, throbbing basslines and succinct lyrics all serve them well, culminating in a thrillingly hyperactive ride that’s packed with a post-punk punch.

Lucky for us, they headlined our gig at the Sebright Arms for Independent Venue Week a few days ago, bringing their spartan antics to the venue’s tiny downstairs stage for an intimate show.

Watch them perform You Are the Space Invader below.
