The 18th annual MOBO Awards party takes place on Saturday 19 October so we're doffing our hats to all the nominees who are in the running to pick up a prestigious prize.

This year Laura Mvula and Wiley lead the shortlist with four nominations apiece. Both are battling for the coveted Best Album gong, alongside Angel, Rudimental and Disclosure in one of the best line-ups we've seen for yonks.

Wiley is also nominated for the PRS for Music sponsored Best Song Award for his top 10 hit Reload, featuring Chip. Meanwhile Jessie Ware and Lianne La Havas are up against Laura Mvula in the Best R&B/Soul category, and X Factor’s Jahmene Douglas is competing against rapper Stylo G, Etta Bond and Fuse ODG in the Best Newcomer category.

With so many great acts to choose from it was hard to put together our weekly playlist.

Below you'll find choice cuts from Rudimental, Disclosure, Wiley, AlunaGeorge, Naughty Boy,  Jessie Ware, Lianne La Havas, Laura Mvula, Stylo G, Etta Bond and Fuse ODG...

So dig in and enjoy! As ever, let us know what we've missed and who would make your ultimate MOBOs playlist at: www.facebook.com/PRSforMusic or @M_magazinePRS
