Thank you to everyone who has taken part in our survey in helping us shape the future of LOML.
The way in which customers want to use music online continues to evolve. During the pandemic many businesses moved online and wanted to use music in different ways to enhance their customers’ experience, even though restrictions have been eased these new online activities are likely to continue. Therefore, our survey helped to better understand how existing and future Limited Online Music Licence (LOML) customers, are looking to use music to help shape the licence in the future.
LOML covers small online services in the UK that offer livestreaming, on-demand content, and/or permanent downloads. Including activities such as:
- Livestreaming of religious services, fitness classes, dance tuition classes, virtual conferences
- Podcasts, dance tuition classes etc available on demand
