Are your online account details correct?
Set yourself up for a successful 2026.
Making sure the details in your online account are up to date helps us to pay you your royalties on time, so you get the most out of your membership.
If you have changed your details recently or are unsure if your details are still correct, use the checklist below to update your account.
Updating your online account: your checklist
Go to the PRS website and log in to My Account:
- Add the bank details you want your royalties paid to
Click 'Financial' and make sure your bank details are correct so you can get paid.
- Check your contact preferences so we can share helpful info with you
Under ‘Notifications’, tell us how you want us to contact you, so you don’t miss the latest royalty updates.
- Add your address (home or business as relevant)
Let us know where you’re based by updating your address under ‘Membership Info’. This clarifies your tax residency and helps prevent incorrect tax deductions.
- Decide who has access to your PRS account
‘Contacts and Users’ allows you to edit the permissions in your online PRS account for third parties, helpful if you have a team. Find out more.
Remember that if you have more than one membership number (CAE/IPI) or you manage the rights for multiple PRS for Music members, you’ll need to repeat these steps for each CAE/IPI.
Register and report
As well as ensuring your details are up to date, don’t forget that within your online account you can also:
Register any new music so we can track when it's played, even if it hasn't been recorded or released yet.
Report any live performances as music earns royalties when it’s performed live.
