Young Guns Network (YGN) returns this week for a panel debate dedicated to helping young music industry professionals develop their careers.

The Career Evolution: Seamlessly Swapping Sectors event will focus on media professionals who have successfully applied their skills across other creative sectors to find rewarding new careers.

Speakers include Georgina Thomas, chief operating officer of Unsigned Music Awards, Murray Gray, founder of entertainment company The Big M London, and Howard Gray, founding partner of global business consultancy H Bureau.

The panel and networking event takes place on Thursday 21 April from 6.30pm at WeWork, Chancery Lane, London.

Liz Stokes, YGN event coordinator, said: ‘The music and media industries have a tendency to lock people into a career path, however, every member of YGN has always shown abilities and interests across such broad areas that I think now is the right time to address how they can make transitions.

‘YGN is an organisation that puts the seemingly unobtainable right in front of its members and I believe this event will inspire them to go even further.’

YGN has been steadily growing its reach over the last three years and its events have been featured by BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat, The Guardian, CMU, Tech Radar, Red Bull and SBTV.
