Calling all UK artists and bands: Resonate Live music conference is welcoming applications to play at its upcoming showcase in Glasgow.

The opportunity is designed to provide emerging acts with the chance to amplify their career in an industry setting, and is open to anyone based in the UK or Europe, as long as themselves or a member of the band resides in Scotland.

The event takes place on 14 November at Barras Art & Design Centre, in the city centre. The showcase is open to applicants aged 14 and over, and all interested acts should upload a song for consideration. For more info and to apply, see https://www.resonatescot.co.uk/apply-to-play

Previous performers include Declan Welsh & The Decadent West, Makeness, Kate Kyle and Lizzie Reid.

Resonate Music Industry Conference is a one-day event aimed at artists and music industry professionals in Scotland and offers a programme of keynote speeches, panel discussions and networking opportunities.

Scheduled talks for this year’s edition include Thriving in the Music Industry, a session with Help Musicians Scotland on how to balance developing your career while staying healthy and grounded.

Elsewhere, panels including Why Do You Need a Sync Agent, Let the Creators Create and The Road to Europe… and Beyond will examine how to navigate the music industry at home and abroad.
