Universal Music Publishing (UMPG) has announced the renewal of deals with Paul Weller, Florence Welch and songwriter Steve Booker.
The company’s deal with Florence will cover her future and past works such as number one albums Lungs and Ceremonials.
According to the company, the long-standing publishing deal with Paul Weller covers his music with the Jam, the Style Council as well as releases from his extensive solo career.
Steve Booker is best known for his work with the likes of John Newman, Rebecca Ferguson and Duffy.
Florence Welch said: ‘UMPG were one of the first to support me in my career. I'm extremely happy to continue my relationship with them.’
Paul Connolly, president of Europe and UK, UMPG, added: ‘Florence is an incredible and highly original songwriter, as well as a captivating performer. UMPG is extremely proud to represent her work, and I’m delighted we are able to extend our relationship.’
The company recently announced the launch of UMPG Songs, a new website aimed to make it easier for publishers to find suitable music for sync.
