United Vibrations receive PRS Foundation support for WOMEX

Four-piece future jazz outfit United Vibrations have received PRS for Music Foundation support to attend the World Music Expo (WOMEX) in Spain.

Four-piece future jazz outfit United Vibrations have received PRS for Music Foundation support to attend the World Music Expo (WOMEX) in Spain.

The event, which takes place in Galicia from 19 to 23 October, offers an international networking platform for artists and music industry professionals.

The five-day event includes a trade fair, showcase festival, conference and film programme, as well as opening and award ceremonies.

Afro-jazz band United Vibrations hail from South London and are inspired by the likes of Fela Kuti, John Coltrane, Weather Report, 4Hero, Jaco Pastorius, Ali Farka Toure and Talking Heads.

They received support to perform through the foundation’s International Showcase Fund.
