On 1 March supergroup The Producers will be playing an exclusive performance and holding an interactive session for 170 Tech Music School (TMS) students at Bush Hall, Shepherd’s Bush, on the first night of their UK tour of music colleges, ahead of the release of their debut album, Made in Basing Street, in May 2012.

The Producers are Lol Creme (10CC, Duran Duran, Kate Bush), Trevor Horn (Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Pet Shop Boys), Stephen Lipson (Paul McCartney, Annie Lennox) and TMS graduate, Ash Soan (drummer on Adele’s ‘21’ album). Together they’ve scored over 200 hit singles and albums.

As well as showcasing their new album, the set will feature some of their biggest hits, including Video Killed the Radio Star, Two Tribes and Rubber Bullets.  They will also answer questions about their lives, work and incredible careers.

In addition, two TMS vocal students, chosen by The Producers will perform live on the night.

The event coincides with the 30th Anniversary of TMS, one of Europe’s most highly recognised music schools. To mark this significant celebration, the School has introduced three new degrees in Music Production, Music Business and Songwriting.
