The Special Ks are a pop band from Brighton that fuse electro and dance into their sound while retaining a strong live-music presence, playing completely live and shunning backing tracks.
The Special Ks consist of:
Howard - Vocals / Keyboard
Darren - Keyboards / BVs
Mat - Guitar / BVs
Gan - Bass
Ryan - Drums / Percussion
Howard, Darren and Mat popped in to perform a couple of special versions of their songs Crystal Fields and Get Down. The guys also had a chat with us about how they put their music together and a few stories behind the songs.
Crystal Fields is to be released as the band's debut single on 23 October, to celebrate this, The Special Ks play their London single launch at Monto Water Rats on 13 October (tonight!). Tickets are available on the door but if you write your name on the Facebook event page here, you will be added to the exclusive £6 advance guest list.
