Peter Perrett, former frontman of The Only Ones, is set to release his debut solo album this summer.

How The West Was Won, which is out through Domino Records on 30 June, will be the first music Perrett has released for 20 years.

He claims to have barely touched a guitar in the decade between The Only Ones' 1996 LP Woke Up Sticky and the group's 2007 reunion.

This surprise comeback features the title track, available now to stream, with a video directed by Focus Creeps (Arctic Monkeys, King Krule).

Across the new record, he's backed by his sons Jamie and Peter Jr on lead guitar and bass respectively, with Rolling Stones' producer Chris Kimsey on the dials.
