The nominations for The Ivors 2025 with Amazon Music have been announced, with Lola Young leading the way with three nominations.

This year's ceremony, which will recognise and celebrate exceptional achievements in songwriting and screen composing across eight categories, will mark the 70th year that The Ivors have been held. The 2025 winners will be revealed during this year's ceremony at Grosvenor House in London on 22 May.

74 individual British, Irish or UK resident composers and songwriters, as well as their international collaborators, have received Ivor Novello nominations this year, with 66% of those being nominated for the first time. Among those are Lola Young, who is nominated in three categories, and RAYE, who picked up last year's Songwriter of the Year prize.

Elsewhere, both Ghetts and Conor Dickinson have each received two nominations, while the likes of Charli xcx, JADE and Pa Salieu have also been recognised.

In the PRS for Music Most Performed Work category, Harry Styles’ 2022 hit As It Was is in contention for the third year running. George Michael has been posthumously nominated in the category for Wham!’s Last Christmas, while Dua Lipa’s Houdini, Myles Smith’s Stargazing and Cassö, RAYE and D-Block Europe’s single Prada are also nominated.

U2 will also be honoured at The Ivors 2025 as Academy Fellows, recognising ‘their enduring influence and impact on the craft of songwriting’. Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. will become the first Irish songwriters to be inducted into the Academy's Fellowship in its 81-year history.

This year’s ceremony will also see awards being presented for Songwriter of the Year with Amazon Music, Outstanding Song Collection, Visionary Award with Amazon Music, Special International Award and the PRS for Music Icon Award.
