The groundbreaking panel will gather a manager, promoter, record label owner and online PR expert to provide tips, insights and practical ideas to three very different bands, Us Baby Bear Bones, House of Hats and Munich.

The experts will first listen to the bands’ music and hear of their backgrounds to build up a picture of each one. The bands will also act as case studies for the audience, which will be invited to participate and ask questions.

The session has been masterminded by PRS for Music’s Jules Parker, who will also moderate it. From 4pm tomorrow, 10 May, at the Pavilion Theatre, Brighton Dome, he will be joined by: Natasha Bent, Agent, The Agency Group; Marni Wandner, Digital Marketing, Sneak Attack Media; Dan O’Neill, The Angle Management/Lovebox; Nigel Adams, Full Time Hobby record label.

Let’s take a look at the bands:

Us Baby Bear Bones
Brightonian dream pop trio Us Baby Bear Bones have a track featured on the latest One Inch Badge Sea Monsters 2: Best of Brighton compilation. They combine well crafted pop melodies with ethereal sounds and expansive synth-led backdrops.

Watch their song You:

House Of Hats
The sound that has been unearthed from House of Hats has been described as ‘Fleetwood Mac meets Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young’, although the band have already stamped their own undeniable style on the singer songwriter and folk scene.

They have just finished recording their second EP with producer Tim Bidwell (Kate Walsh), which will be released this summer.

Catch them on Saturday 12 May, 7.15pm, The Fishbowl, Brighton

After releasing their debut EP Where Are You Now, and singles All Sussed Out and Into the Rain last year, they picked up great support from NME, XFM, BBC Introducing and Drowned In Sound.
