Today from Texas: PRS for Music’s Jules Parker is moderating a panel to discuss success strategies for international artists in the UK.

Success in Britain can often be the springboard songwriters need to lead to worldwide acclaim. Adele, Coldplay, Taio Cruz, The Killers and Kings of Leon have all used success in the UK as an incubator before going global.

This session will cover everything musicians, managers and record labels need to know about one of the world’s most creative and fast-changing musical environments.

Topics covered include; building a buzz, playing live, contacting tastemakers and an export-ready checklist.

Jules will be joined by Mike Smith, Managing Director of Columbia Records, The Lights Label boss Jonathan Morley, Rich Castello, Director of 2wo 7even Management and Dan Monsell from Transgressive.
