Swifta Beater, a producer and songwriter for UK grime stars JME, Kano and Wiley, has signed a global music publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music.

As a songwriter, producer and DJ, Swifta Beater has worked on songs for a range of artists including Bugzy Malone and Giggs. His musical influences extend across bassline, drum and bass, hip-hop, grime and UK garage.

Amber Davis, creative director, A&R, Warner/Chappell Music UK said: ‘I’m delighted to welcome Swifta Beater to Warner/Chappell. He is a phenomenal talent whose beats and productions have been right at the heart of grime’s resurgence and momentous growth.  I can’t wait to see how he continues to develop as a songwriter and an artist.’

Swifta Beater added: ‘It's such a pleasure being alongside the talented artists and producers that Warner/Chappell has. Thanks to Amber, I have no doubt that I can continue to be myself creatively and push my sound even further.’

His career to date includes producing Man Don’t Care by JME, featuring Giggs, which sold more than 250,000 units in the UK and is one of the most critically-acclaimed singles in the grime scene.

Swifta also produced 3 Wheel-Ups by Kano, featuring Giggs, and has had cuts on Landlord, Giggs’ album that charted at number two in the UK.
