Radiohead songs in climate change film

Thom Yorke has said that Radiohead have given permission for a new film about climate change use some of their songs.

Thom Yorke has said that Radiohead have given permission for a new film about climate change use some of their songs.

The Island President is a documentary about the effects of climate change on the Maldives. Yorke described the film as '...The struggle of President Nasheed to get the voice of a small nation heard in the climate change debate.' before going on to say: Unless something is done to stop rising sea levels they will lose everything. The country will be under water.'

The film won 'Best Documentary' at the Toronto film festival and will be screened this week at the Sundance film festival.
