Although the ceremony itself will not take place until Monday 22 October, Q magazine is asking music fans to vote now to help decide which acts will be awarded with one of the historical trophies.
In a completely open vote, you can nominate any act for any of the below categories, so long as they are eligible:
In order to vote, all you need to do is fill out the Q Awards voting form. What's more, everyone who enters has a chance to win a pair of tickets to the awards ceremony.
The open voting system closes on 3 September, at which point a shortlist will be collated and the public will vote for the ultimate winners of each category.
