Welcome to the M50: Winter 2013 edition of M magazine

In this issue we profile one-time Eurythmics frontwoman, acclaimed solo artist and campaigner Annie Lennox. We interview Hackney dance group Rudimental on their incredible, chart topping 2013 while take a snap shot of Glasgow and how its incredible DIY scene has transformed the city into a musical mecca.

We also investigate the success of British acts on the other side of the pond and hear from electronic pioneer Gary Numan on how he wrote seminal hit Are Friends Electric? We uncover who’s just joined PRS for Music and discover the tracks that make up the musical life of Leopold Whitely, head of international creative at Notting Hill Music.

Later, Orbital, seminal dance music act and recent recipients of a PRS for Music heritage award, recall a memorable gig in New York in the wake of 9/11. Eccentric singer songwriter Ghostpoet makes for our 60 Seconds, talking inspiration, the health of the music biz and why he loves the sound of tunnels.
