Ireland’s largest music conference Output Belfast returns for 2017 with a series of panel discussions, music sessions, workshops and speed networking sessions.
The programme takes place on 16 February at various venues around the city including the Oh Yeah Centre.
Highlights include a co-writing masterclass with Notting Hill Music’s John Saunderson, an Ableton masterclass, talks on getting into sync and a ‘meet the funders’ panel with reps from PRS Foundation, Pledge Music and more.
PRS for Music’s Stuart Fleming will feature on a collecting society panel to discuss the work of the organisation and answer any questions.
Elsewhere, Graham Davies, director of strategy at PRS for Music, will take part in a panel discussing the merits of block chain technology for the music industry.
Output Belfast has been organised by Belfast City Council in partnership with Generator NI.
The conference will attract around 500 local artists, businesses and students. It will address the challenges and opportunities that the music industry presents, highlighting the key role that music and performance plays within Northern Ireland’s creative industries sector.
