Off The Record, a new music and conference showcase, has announced further details of its multi-venue event, including the panels How To Break A Band in 10 Weeks, New Kids on the Block and How To Get a Job in the Music Industry.

A conference by day and live music event by night, the Manchester festival takes place on 10 November in the heart of Manchester.

Attendees will have access to a wealth of expertise and knowledge from big names in the music industry, with exclusive In Conversation sessions from highly tipped acts Cabbage and The Falseheads.

PRS for Music’s Coral Williamson will be sharing insight into what it takes to break into the industry in the panel New Kids on the Block.

Other panels will include discussions on music placements in television, how to make money from merch and everything you need to know about labels.

A total of 30 new artists performing on the night have been chosen by the likes of The Fall's Brix Smith-Start and BBC Radio 1 DJ Phil Taggart, and will be announced 24 hours before the event.

Tickets are on sale now, priced from £15. Visit the Off The Record website for more details.
