Manchester band Oasis is to re-issue debut album Definitely Maybe to mark the 20th anniversary of its original release.

A series of re-issues - entitled Oasis: Chasing The Sun - will begin on 19 May and feature a fully re-mastered version of the original album alongside rarities, b-sides, unreleased tracks and live recordings. Re-issues of following albums (What's The Story) Morning Glory? (1995) and Be Here Now (1997) will follow later this year.

According to the band, the group’s 1994 debut single Supersonic will be also be available as a 12 inch vinyl on 19 April for Record Store Day.

A replica cassette of the band's original 1993 demos, recorded before the band were signed by Creation, will be available as part of the re-issue.

Definitely Maybe was originally released in August 1994 and became the fastest-selling debut album ever (at the time). The debut record went seven-times platinum in the UK (over 2m copies), and sold 5m worldwide.
