Sony, Disney, Big Sync and Imagem will be among the companies appearing at the 2015 London Sync Sessions (LSS).

As reported by Music Week, the event will run from 19-21 October and feature industry panels, discussions as well as live performances.

According to organisers, the initiative will aim to explore the challenges and opportunities in the world of sync for publishers, record labels and artists.

Speakers will include representatives from Sony, Warner, Disney, Imagem, BBC and as well as composers and music supervisors whose CV’s include films such as Harry Potter, Whiplash and Layer Cake.

Rupert Hollier, creative director of publishing and synchronisation, told Music Week: ‘We are delighted to be hosting the LSS at Metropolis Studios this October.

‘The building will come alive with interactive workshops, panels, screenings and live performances, with discussion and debate inspired by some of the biggest names from the world of sync, film directors and producers, music users and providers. This will be a fantastic opportunity to network, share ideas and create new ones - whether you are from a major label or indie background.’
