Music publisher Manners McDade is the latest to announce it has joined IMPEL (Independent Music Publishers’ European Licensing).

The company will join the likes of Bucks Music, Warp and Imagem among many others as members of the initiative.

Through IMPEL, Manners McDade have appointed MCPS (in conjunction with PRS for Music) to licence and administer their digital rights in Anglo-American repertoire across Europe.

Catherine Manners, director, said: ‘We’re delighted to be joining IMPEL - as independents, a collective voice is increasingly important.’

Harriet Wybor, publishing manager, added: ‘As the digital market continues to develop, it is important for our composers that we are able to licence digital rights collectively and competitively; we are very pleased to include our Anglo-American repertoire with IMPEL.’
