PRS for Music, PRS Foundation and PPL will be hosting a panel with Marika Hackman at The Great Escape on how to evolve as an artist.

PRS for Music,  PRS Foundation and PPL will be hosting a panel with Marika Hackman at The Great Escape on how to evolve as an artist.


Taking place at the Old Courtroom in Brighton as part of the festival on Friday 19 May, the session will explore Marika’s musical career and the challenges and risks she faced when changing her sound and lyrical content.


She will be joined in the discussion by long-term producer Charlie Andrew, Tim Dellow from Transgressive and her radio plugger Claire Collins. BBC 6 Music’s Tom Ravenscroft will moderate the panel.


PRS for Music will also host networking drinks after the panel in association will fellow panel sponsors, PPL and PRS Foundation.


The panel will run from 12.30pm to 1.30pm with the drinks taking place at the Merkaba Bar at MyHotel in Brighton from 3pm to 5pm.


The Great Escape runs from 18 to 20 May and is one of the UK’s biggest music conferences for new music.
