Keith Lowde, the former MCPS deputy managing director, was tragically killed in a boating accident just after New Year.
Keith was Deputy MD of MCPS from 1981 to 1992, before becoming a lecturer in music management at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guilford.
Guy Fletcher, who took up the post of PRS Chairman on January 1 2011 said 'Keith was a one-off, a lovely guy. He was such a charming man. I was with him just 10 days ago and this news has shocked me. He was a real luminary of the music industry and had been for a very long time.'
Our thoughts are with his wife, children, friends and those of you that knew him at this sad time.
