Indie rockers the Kaiser Chiefs have signed a new global publishing deal with Imagem.

The news coincides with the announcement that the band has also renewed their deal with Fiction Records/Caroline.

The Kaiser Chiefs are returning to the studio to begin work on their sixth LP with Pet Shop Boys Brian Higgins.

Imagem Music has worked with the band via their original publishing agreement when they acquired Rondor Music. The new deal will see Imagem publish the band globally, representing all future copyrights in addition to existing copyrights in the UK and Europe.

Kim Frankiewicz, Imagem Music managing director, said: ‘Our history with the Kaisers goes back to the very beginning at Imagem.

‘As a band they have evolved and the spirit of their songwriting has an unbound energy. I’m delighted to be working with them once more, this time on a global basis, working alongside our offices in Europe, North America, as well as our partners throughout the world.’

The Kaiser Chiefs have sold 6m records over the last 10 years, enjoying a number of top 10 hits and chart topping albums.
