Jake Bugg, Black Sabbath and Massive Attack are among the British acts featuring their music in the Secret 7” project.

The initiative selects seven songs from seven artists and presses a limited run of 100 copies of each to be made available on Record Store Day.

Organisers of the project then invite creatives from across the world to contribute their own sleeve, making for a series of unique, limited releases.

Last year saw the likes of Ai Weiwei, Gilbert and George and David Shrigley all contribute artwork while the project has raised more than £60,000 for charity over the last two years.

The 700 sleeves will be exhibited Downstairs At Mother in London on 12 and 13 April before being put on sale on Record Store Day for £45 a piece. Music fans will not know who the seven inch is by or who has created the sleeve until they have purchased the record.

Secret 7” is supported by Record Store Day, Universal Music UK and the Vinyl Factory.
