Urban Development’s Industry Takeover all-dayer is returning for 2016 with a packed programme of panels, networking and open seminars.

Urban Development’s Industry Takeover all-dayer is returning for 2016 with a packed programme of panels, networking and open seminars.

The annual event, which gathers music industry experts to share their insight and experiences, will this year focus on grime and urban culture, women in music and ‘generation DIY’.

Panels will also offer a beginner’s guide to the music industry and a discussion around the relationship between creativity and commerce.

Participating organisations include Complex UK, GRM Daily, Reprezent FM, That’s Nang, Universal Music, Girls I Rate, UK Music, Musicians' Union, Intellectual Property Office, CMU:D.I.Y, with more to be announced.

Panellists include MOBO Award-winning singer and broadcaster Colleen Harris, songwriter Carla Marie Williams and GRM Daily founder Posty.

The all-dayer takes place on 1 October at Ravensbourne, Greenwich Peninsula, London.
