British industry body UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) is hosting an international mentoring session at next month’s Great Escape showcase in Brighton.

‘Around the Word in 80 Ways’ is a new initiative from UKTI that hopes to foster lasting ties between British music industry professionals and their counterparts abroad.

The scheme offers delegates the chance to meet with more than 20 worldwide industry representatives, including attendees from a Japanese record label, an agent from the US and Chinese festival promoters.

The sessions will consist of 15-minute one-to-one appointments on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 May at the Brighton Dome. They are open to any UK companies who are registered, or are intending to register, as delegates at The Great Escape.
