South London MC Loyle Garner, pop/soul artist Izzy Bizu and MMOTHS are among 100 new acts added to The Great Escape Festival’s bill.

Taking place 19-21 May in Brighton, these artists are among more than 450 heading to the seaside to play.

London underground rock trio BEASTS, Barns Courtney and new PMR Records signing SG Lewis are also new additions.

Other already announced acts include Mystery Jets, Mura Masa and Shura as well as a number of grime artists including Lady Leshurr, Stormzy and D Double E.

Kevin Moore, TGE event manager, said: ‘It’s wonderful to be able to announce another 100 artists who will be taking part in The Great Escape 2016.

We wanted to make sure this year’s line up was as exciting and as diverse as ever, championing emerging artists from as many genres as possible and I really do feel we’ve got something for every type of new music fan, no matter what you’re into.’

Alongside the live acts, conventions with music industry representatives, including from PRS for Music, will be on hand to offer advice and insight.
