Are you a female producer or composer who creates original electronica, future R&B or bass tracks? If so, Universal Production Music wants to hear from you.

The label has teamed up with shesaid.so and She Is The Music to address the gender imbalance in production music, and is seeking female-identifying music-makers to feature on its 100% Her LP.

The set will be all-female composed, produced, mixed and mastered, as the three organisations strive to make equality a reality within production music.

They are on the lookout for music-makers who can create electronic music for film, TV, games, online and radio – both vocal songs and instrumental tracks. To find out more and submit your sounds, read the brief.

The three organisations behind the album idea said in a statement: ‘We're striving towards making equality a reality within production music.

‘We think it's incredibly important to offer underrepresented communities within production music a voice and our mission is clear; to champion talented women working in our industry and create a special opportunity for them to share their work.’
