Techno act The Black Dog, hip hop artist Kid Acne, Rinse FM DJs and broadcaster Mary Ann Hobbs are among those coming together to raise money for ill photographer Shaun Bloodworth.

Shaun has made a name for himself photographing many artists from across the world of UK grime, hip hop and bass music including Hudson Mohawke, Skream! Flying Lotus, Daedelus, Mary Ann Hobbs, Illum Sphere, plus many many more.

The photographer has sadly been ill in Sheffield Northern General Hospital for nearly four months waiting for a liver transplant. While there he caught an infection that resulted in the amputation of one of his legs.

Now many of the artists photographer by Shaun are coming together to raise money for him and his family.

Friends of Shaun are holding a fundraising night at the Forum on Devonshire Street on 1 September with The Black Dog, Kid Acne, Pete McKeen and DJ Pipes all playing as well as a raffle with prizes from Warp and CPU Records.

In London, Mary Anne Hobbs will be curating a series of club nights on 15 September with the likes of Bleep, Boiler Room, GiveUpArt and Rinse FM all getting involved.
