Acclaimed singer songwriter Beth Orton has signed a worldwide publishing deal with BMG Chrysalis US.

The company now represents Beth’s songwriting catalogue for the entirety of her 20 year career.

Beth is known for her blend of folk and ambient electronics and first came to prominence via collaborations with producer William Orbit and dance duo the Chemical Brothers.

Michele Fleischli, Orton's manager, said: ‘It's exciting to work with a team that is dedicated to the art of collaborating and making music, which Beth finds inspiring.’

Kate Hyman, senior vice-president of Creative at BMG Chrysalis, added: ‘Beth has a gift for blending distinct sounds and writing lyrics that are emotionally raw. It is an honour for BMG to be able to work with her catalogue and help propel her career forward.’

Beth’s career highlights include her Central Reservation in 1999, which led to a Brit Award for Best Female Artist. The well-received Sugaring Season in 2012 was her first album in six years.
