Are you an under-the-radar female classical composer or performer looking to get noticed? Get involved in BBC Radio 3’s new initiative to support women in music.

To celebrate International Women’s Day on 8 March, the station has teamed up with BBC Music Introducing to shine a light on unsigned and undiscovered female classical composers and the performers who play their music.

As well as playing recorded tracks, BBC Radio 3 will be inviting performers into the BBC studios to live a live lunchtime concert of music by women composers.

If you would like to get involved, upload your music and performances to bbc.co.uk/introducing and select ‘classical’ as your genre.

The closing date for entries is 8 February 2018.
