Tune Up is the daytime partner to the evening awards ceremony, and includes panels, practical demos and workshops tailored to composers.

It has been organised by the Library Music Awards, in conjunction with BASCA, and will be held at film body BAFTA’s headquarters on Piccadilly, London, on 23 October.

BASCA’s Meet the Production Music Libraries panel will offer songwriters and composers a chance to meet production music libraries to learn about the repertoire they are currently looking for and find out how they can submit work for consideration.

The panel will include representatives from Extreme Music, Audio Network, EMI Production Music, Universal PPM and Warner/Chappell.

BASCA will also host a Composers’ Q&A session featuring a panel of songwriters and composers who will reveal how they got their lucky break and what they had to do to attain their success.

Discount tickets are available for PRS for Music members. For more information and to purchase tickets please email info@basca.org.uk or visit http://basca.org.uk/tune-up-the-library-music-awards/
