Barlow and Lloyd Webber write Jubilee song

Gary Barlow and Andrew Lloyd Webber are to pen a song for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The collaboration will be filmed by the BBC for a BBC1 documentary.

Gary Barlow and Andrew Lloyd Webber are to pen a song for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The collaboration will be filmed by the BBC for a BBC1 documentary.

The team-up was announced by Barlow and Lloyd-Weber on Chris Evans' BBC Radio 2 show and will see Barlow visiting the countries of the Commonwealth to seek inspiration for the piece. which will include a variety of different musical traditions and feature performers from all over the Commonwealth.

The new song will be performed to 20,000 people at the Diamond Jubilee concert which takes place on 4 June at Buckingham Palace. The event will be broadcast around the world.
