Applications are now being accepted for the latest round of support from PRS Foundation’s Women Make Music fund. Submissions close at 6pm on 13 March.

Set up to break down gendered stereotypes in the music industry and increase the profile of women, trans and non-binary artists in the UK, the fund seeks to encourage creators who may otherwise not have applied for PRS Foundation funding to do so.

Women Make Music supports the development of outstanding music creators of all genres and backgrounds at different stages of their career. The fund can support projects by women, trans and non binary-songwriters, composers, artists, bands and performers who are writing their own music.

Previously funded artists include Let’s Eat Grandma, Errollyn Wallen, YolanDa Brown, Marika Hackman and more.
