Singer songwriter Alison Moyet has announced a new single and extensive tour of Europe and the US.

Changeling is the third song to be taken from her latest critically acclaimed album, The minutes. The album is Alison’s eighth full length release and her first since 2007’s The Turn.

The single will be released on 14 October by Cooking Vinyl mid-way through a lengthy tour of Europe, the US and South Africa.

Alison said: ‘I’m entirely made up by the brilliant response to my new album. In truth I love it, so I find them to be right! Even so, it’s always a splendid surprise when someone manages to find us in such a busy playing field. Now I tour. My best thing ever.’

She’s enjoyed a successful musical career of more than 30 years and includes numerous hits both as a solo artist and alongside Vince Clarke in electronic act Yazoo.

As a solo singer songwriter, all of Alison’s ten albums have charted in the top 30 with two taking the number one spot. Her music has been nominated for a Grammy and been awarded two BRIT awards.
