AIM’s annual Sync Licensing Conference is to return to London in April with a keynote interview with Broad City music supervisor Matt FX Feldman.
Taking place on 4 April at Proud Camden, London, the event will see a number of sync industry professionals discussing the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
Opening the evening will be a keynote interview with Matt FX Feldman, music supervisor on hit shows including Broad City, Difficult People, Beaver Falls and Man Seeking Woman.
A panel discussion on synchronisation licensing will follow, exploring how to get independent music on TV, adverts, film and video games. Debate will cover the process involved in placing a track and how the sync licensing business is changing.
Panelists confirmed include Steph Perrin, Felt Music, Pete Beck, sync manager at Believe Digital, Dominic Bastyra, Platinum Rye and Gemma Flaherty, Lime Pictures as well as Feldman.
The panel, chaired by Simon Pursehouse of Sentric Music, will then take part in a listening session, with 10 tracks played and discussed from those submitted by audience members.
