‘It comes with a lot of responsibility. What I want to do is spend that money wisely and put it back into the music community’: Auntie Flo, aka Brian D’Souza, reflects on his SAY Award win.

Taking home the Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award for the globally inspired Radio Highlife was just one of many highlights for the DJ and producer in 2019.

Alongside the win he was also invited by Giles Peterson to headline the inaugural We Out Here festival and was awarded the Scottish Electronic Musician of the Year sponsored by the Sub Club.

Radio Higlife is out now via Brownswood Recordings
