Tonight on M we’re bringing you some live music for your enjoyment, and you don’t even have to leave your sofa – the show will be streamed tonight, right here, live.

We’re teaming up with Metropolis Studios who are hosting Power Down at the Power House, a monthly showcase of the best new musical talent.  Over 80 new acts have appeared since its launch in June 09, many of whom have gone on to achieve great success.

Come back to this page at 7:30pm this evening to listen to this showcase live.

Dzham
Hailing from Moscow, – MTV Award winning Russian star Dzham is one of the biggest hip hop stars of the Eastern Bloc. After 4 albums released in his native tongue, he’s now got his sights set on the UK, Europe and the rest of the world – and will be loudly announcing his arrival with the tongue in cheek, self-explanatory track I’m From Russia.

Sam Beeton

This Nottingham songwriter has been writing and recording songs since he was just 15, and has gone on to tour nationwide with James Morrison, Scouting For Girls and The Script and has been featured on the acclaimed Burberry Acoustic video sessions.

A.J Moore
Acoustic singer-songwriter A.J. Moore has performed in some of the world’s most famous venues from The Royal Albert Hall in London to the Peoples Theatre in Shanghai. Having made a name for himself as the guitarist for number-1-selling artists Hayley Westenra, Laura Wright, Jonathan Ansell, Lee Mead, Amr Diab and Faryl Smith, he is now embarking on his own solo career. Debut album Harmonics is set for release in early 2012.

Royal Treatment Plant
Following their critically heralded 2008 debut album, Royal Treatment Plant released their sophomore LP Halfway To the Sun on 24 October.The release crowns a significant year for the band, which saw them wow crowds at Austin’s SXSW, and their song All The Same featured as the title track on Channel 4's On Track with Seat.
