Notes on Samuel Brookes

After winning MTV’s 2008 Get Seen Get Heard talent contest with his band The Volt, Sam has kept himself very busy. Performing five slots at Glastonbury? Check. Writing and recording a solo album? Check (he's just putting the finishing touches to it in the studio). Supporting a legend? Check - opening for Kinks front man Ray Davies on his May tour.

Samuel Brookes is playing several dates this winter while he readies his solo album, produced by Chris Hughes.

Visit Samuel Brookes' website for more tracks and see him live at The Luminaire on 16 December.
