As dream-folk duo Galileo’s Fan prepare for the release of their debut record I Won’t Be Found, M has an exclusive premiere of the title track.
Having grown up in the Scottish Highlands, siblings Fi and Martin Vass played traditional music with their brother Mike before founding Galileo’s Dream in 2012.
Since their inception Galileo’s Fan have become regulars on the Scottish live circuit and have performed at celebrated festivals like Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Yes Festival and Hootananny.
Combining traditional songwriting principles with contemporary production and a subtle use of electronics, the duo has carved out a unique sonic landscape of melodically poignant alternative folk.
Bringing to mind the magisterial sonics of Sigur Ros and Of Monsters and Men's emotional resonance, I Won’t Be Found promises to be a special collection.
The band’s debut will be released on 16 September via GF records, but before that get a taste of what’s instore via their latest single.
